WHAT TO EXPECT
Note: every school/church is different and the schedule will vary based on time and space available.
It is our privilege to minister to all ages in your school/churches. Thank you for considering this work!
Ecclesiastes 12:1 states: “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth…”
When young people are taught evolution as a “fact of science” from various sources throughout life, it becomes increasingly difficult as they grow older to counteract the seeds of doubt in God’s Word that have been sown when they were young. Add to this an overwhelming lack in churches today to address questions that science has raised, and we have a recipe for young people casting off the faith they were taught by their parents and other leaders. With this in mind, we greatly cherish the opportunity to assist churches and schools in re-building lost trust in God and His Word, beginning with young people.

Foundation Focus Philosophy of SET
-
Foundation Focus Week is a "revival" week for all ages to strengthen, engage, and train in creation and apologetics.
-
In short, the overall purpose of a Foundation Focus event is to know God and His design in order to accurately present Him to this generation.
-
The focus is on the foundation of Genesis, especially since the world has made that account their main target. Bible believers particularly need to be ready to give solid Bible answers (1 Peter 3:15).
-
We use God’s Word and His works in creation to strengthen the faith of those who are already saved and to invite ones who do not yet know Christ as Savior to come to Him. A stronger faith equals a stronger witness and greater desire to live for Christ.
Needs for the Meeting
-
Large screen or blank wall (for presentations with computer/projector).
-
Teachers to assist their particular class
-
Tables for books/DVDs/artifacts: 3 - 6’ tables or 2 8’ tables plus a 6’ table for artifacts.
Decór
The Setzers come with some decorative and/or promotional items (banners, yard signs, display items / artifacts, etc). So any additional theme-related decor provided by teachers and staff will only add to the excitement of the students.
Living Arrangements
In order to be as little of a burden to schools and churches as possible, the Setzers travel in an RV which serves as both home and office on the road. For proper operation, 50 amp electrical service is needed (4-prong electric outlet designed for RVs). There also must be an available water connection. A septic tap is very helpful, but not necessary unless there are city restrictions on grey waste water (i.e. sink/shower water) being let out onto the ground. Parking our RV at the school or church is optimum since we bring many things to set up for the week.
Finances:
The Setzers come on a love offering basis as missionaries in the field of creation and apologetics. In order to help us prepare for the meeting, we request a non-refundable $250 deposit which helps cover costs of materials such as: banners, tee shirts, yard signs, handbooks, promotional materials, and awards,
If your budget doesn’t allow for a $250 deposit, feel free to contact us to make arrangements.
